Hey there, wonderful storytellers!
July is my "rethink" time. It's mid-year 2024, and the depth of summer or winter depends on where you are. It's the perfect time to take stock and reflect on your journey as an author and speaker. Let's dive in with the three "what" questions:
1. WHAT HAS BEEN my experience this year?
Take a moment to think about your 2024 so far. What has worked? What challenges have you faced? What were the highs and lows? Reflecting on these experiences will help you understand your journey better and identify patterns that can guide your future steps.
2. WHAT IS my reality right now?
Consider your current situation. What strengths do you have today? What’s missing from your work or skill set right now? Are you spending too much time in one area and neglecting something else? It's crucial to ensure balance in your professional and personal life.
3. WHAT WILL BE happening in the last part of the year?
Look ahead to the rest of 2024. If you're missing a skill or feel like your edges have dulled, where will you seek coaching, feedback, or new learning? What must you do in the second half of 2024 that you might have been putting off? Think about how and when you'll take action on these issues. Imagine what 2025 will look like for you and what actions you need to take to be ready for this time next year.
